KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Cleans floors, walls, furniture and fittings and removes waste.
• Adheres to strict safety procedures.
• Maintains appropriate Occupational Health & Safety standards in the handling of chemicals and equipment.
• Respect clients’ rights and privacy.
• Any other request as directed.
 
Skills
• Ability to use equipment necessary to undertake cleaning activities required is essential.
• Ability to work in a methodical and thorough manner to achieve required level of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment for self and others.
Personal Attributes
• Ability to communicate well with a wide range of people.
• Patience and courtesy when dealing with clients.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
Experience
• Experience in the use of equipment, materials and substances used in the provision of a cleaning service.
• Previous experience as a cleaner in a similar environment is highly desirable.
Qualifications and Training
• No formal qualifications are required.
• Training in the use of equipment used in cleaning services would be highly regarded.
